BPD has held the property at 3 Thayer Street within it’s rental portfolio since 2016. Located on the same street as BPD’s previous Hillside and Brookside developments, the acquisition was a strategic decision to support the long-term development plans of the organization.
Over the past year, the BPD team has worked closely with the City of Quincy Planning and Zoning departments to obtain approvals to raze the existing structure and allow for the construction of an 8-unit condominium development, which includes 12 on grade parking spaces and a podium structure above. The units will be an equal mix of 2 and 2+ Bedrooms and will feature open living, full height windows, private balconies and designer finishes.
Construction is currently underway with sellouts occurring in 2027.
